Lisa Buckley
Senior Counsel

Lisa Buckley has more than a decade of experience in philanthropy and fundraising, working with both corporations and nonprofits. She has worked intensively with grant makers, developing and directing corporate social responsibility initiatives and cause-marketing programs. Ms. Buckley has also assisted many charitable organizations in raising funds through capital campaigns, major gift solicitations, annual campaigns, direct mail solicitations, and special events.

For more than six years, Ms. Buckley served as Director of Community Relations and Director of The Longaberger Foundation. Prior to joining Longaberger, she served as Public Affairs Consultant to The Limited, Inc. More recently, she was Managing Director, Philanthropy Division of Changing Our World, Inc., a Manhattan firm specializing in philanthropy and fundraising strategies. With Benefactors Counsel, she has provided numerous services—including feasibility studies, development assessments, and campaign guidance—for such clients as Mid-Ohio FoodBank, YMCA of Central Ohio, the Salvation Army, and BalletMet.

Ms. Buckley is a frequent presenter at regional and national conferences. She has served on the boards of Grant/Riverside Methodist Hospitals Foundation, Children's Hospital of Columbus Foundation Development Board, and the Board of the Franklin Park Conservatory & Botanical Garden. She is a graduate of Ohio University and has served on the Ohio University Regional Coordinating Council.
